| This is a great overnight getaway which is a perfect opportunity to relax yet explore South Florida at the same time. After leaving Orlando we venture directly to south Florida, home of the American Alligator the Florida Everglades. Experience the wind in your hair as you glide across the swamps in an airboat before viewing the snake and alligator handling show - be sure to have your photo taken with this critter whilst you have the opportunity. Then we venture south through the Florida Keys. You will see some of the most breath taking scenery of your life with the Gulf of Mexico to your right and the Caribbean Sea to your left, not forgetting the journey over the unforgettable 7 mile bridge. Upon arrival in Key West and checking into your hotel we will venture down to Mallory Square for the daily sunset celebration. Whether you wish to explore the shore or join us on an optional sunset catamaran cruise (charges apply) the choice is yours, but it is a great way to wind down and relax on this island paradise.
The following morning enjoy the continental breakfast and then some free time to explore the island. The guide will help you organize a trolley tour of the island (charges apply) or maybe you want to hit the beach. Whether you want to visit Truman’s Little Whitehouse or have your picture taken at the southernmost point in the USA you can do, you have the time.
At around lunchtime we will start our northbound journey back to Orlando but the day would not be complete without taking some time out en-route in the glamorous city of Miami. This ocean front city for the seen and to be seen is an oasis of pop, art and fashion culture just waiting to be explored. Take in dinner in this Latin hotspot before we continue north to Orlando.
The overnight getaway is for the young and the young at heart - it is an experience not to be missed!
